Electrohydraulic Actuator for Gas Valves, Safety Shut off,  for Gas Fired Plant

The electrohydraulic operated actuator gas valve together with a Siemens VGx valve works exclusively as a safety shutoff valve. This actuator valve is used primarily on gas fired combustion plant and the actuator is designed to open slowly and close rapidly, featuring a 2mm/s opening speed. Valve stroke indication at actuation is delivered with the end switch supplied which is factory-set.

The electrohydraulic actuator together with the valves are designed for use with gases belonging to gas families I-III and air. This actuator is used primarily on gas-fired combustion plant and similar systems. The open/closed safety shutoff function conforms to EN 161 in combination with valves manufactured by Siemens. Opening speeds of approximately 2 mm/s lower due to low ambient temperatures can be compensated by fitting a Siemens AGA63.5A27 heating element.
