KS20 Key Operated Electrical Switch, 4 Contacts, 20 Amp

The KS is a key driven 20 Amp electrical switch designed for machine control circuits. This type of isolator should be used for short term, off load isolation. The KS lock is manufactured from stainless steel. Featuring 4 contacts and a NO/NC contact configuration and is panel mounting, marked with a MX2 symbol.

With key trapped operation, while power is on and a machine is running, the key is trapped in the KS key switch.  You turn and remove the key to switch the power off by changing the contacts arrangement. By turning and removing the key from the switch, the contacts condition in the KS changes, switching the power off once the key is free, power is off.  The key can now be taken to unlock the door interlock and gain access to the machine area. Suitable for a wide range of industrial safety interlock applications.
