Modicon X80 - Dual Ethernet Backplane
The robust 4 Slot Modicon X80 backplane has been designed with an Ethernet backbone to optimise connectivity and industrial process communication. This dual ethernet backplane supports X80 common I/O modules which can be easily integrated into its architecture. Ideal for complex networked communication, display and control applications.
A single Ethernet switch is embedded in the backplane with connectivity to dedicated slots on the backplane (not all slots have Ethernet connectivity). X-bus functionality is preserved and conforms to the legacy implementation and specification. The X-bus is implemented in a subset of modules on the Ethernet backplane.
