The 1734-AENT POINT I/O  EtherNet/IP Adapter is a communications adapter for POINT I/O modules. The adapter provides an interface for controlling and communicating with POINT I/O modules from an EtherNet/IP network.

The Ethernet Industrial network protocol is an open industrial-networking standard that supports both real-time I/O messaging and message exchange. The EtherNet/IP network uses off-the-shelf Ethernet communication chips and physical media. This device provides excellent drive and I/O control performance along with HMI information processing.

Applications include plant management, configuration, data collection, and control on a single, high-speed network, and closer IT & manufacturing integration.
