The integrated bypass allows a very compact construction and ensures low heat dissipation in the control cabinet. Intelligent monitoring functions protect the soft starter against overheating and the motor against overload. In addition, you can limit the current during startup to a settable maximum value. With the integrated remote reset, you can quickly and easily clear faults from a remote location. Some of the 3RW40 up to size S3, and all 3RW44 units also offer thermistor motor protection.With the optional link module, the soft starters can be attached to the circuit breakers, even for the versions with spring-loaded terminals.
